The Roma manager Zdenek Zeman has come out in defence of the criticism levelled at him by saying that he expects the club to improve in the future. He has also said that he believes he has not done a bad job in the first few months of his Roma career.

Zdenek Zeman recently took charge of Roma looking to get back into the Champions League, but they have been unable to get closer to the top three positions. Even though they have been extremely potent in front of goal, they have been extremely bad in defence. As a result, there are currently in the eighth position in the table.

The fans have been extremely patient up until now, but the recent 3-2 defeat at the hands of arch rivals Lazio has led to a lot of criticism for the manager. However, he has said that there is a lot of good things happening within the team, which will come to the fore in the future. He is also extremely enthusiastic about the future. He has said that he is of the belief that he has done the right thing for the club in his first few months as a manager. He has demanded concentration for the whole 90 min from his team.

"I am happy that the club have kept their faith in me. I believe in this project, just as they do. This team has value and can play good football. I've never got the feeling that Roma wanted to get rid of me. Obviously, if you lose seven games in a row, then you'll feel under pressure, but we haven't done that. When I do something, I am convinced it is the right thing. I have not made big mistakes. It is only natural that I have to answer to the results as I am responsible for the team," said Zeman.
