Roma are all set to cancel with immediate effect the contract of Brazilian striker Adriano.
The 29-year-old joined the club from Flamengo in the summer of 2010, but the powerful attacker's stay in the Italian capital has not been a success so far, having played just a handful of matches this season and mainly warming the bench.
Adriano recently returned to Roma three days later than agreed after spending some time in Brazil to recover from a shoulder injury, and the former Inter forward made things even worse when he didn't show up at an appointment with a club doctor at the weekend.
